One of the projects is scheduled to start next year and the other is slated to begin in 2027. Both are occurring on one of Rochester busiest roads.

The project scheduled to start in 2027 focuses on the Hwy. 14 and South Broadway intersection, which MnDOT says sees 50,000 vehicles daily.
Officials are still ironing out plans to improve the intersection, however MnDOT says some options considered for the project are changing the turn lanes, slowing speeds, resurfacing part of South Broadway and replacing the traffic signal.
