A passenger died after a crash on Sunday night on Interstate 93 south in Wilmington, Massachusetts, state troopers announced on Monday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday near Exit 33. That’s where police said that a Honda Civic hydroplaned and hit the median guardrail, before going back into the road and hitting a Chevrolet pickup truck.
The front passenger of the Honda, only identified as a female, died from her injuries at Lahey Hospital, troopers said.
The others involved were also hospitalized, and are expected to recover.
