COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced it will be conducting overnight lane closures of I-20 at the Broad River Road interchange during the next couple of weeks.
Part of Phase 2 of the Carolina Crossroads Project, the overnight closures are so that the contractor can set concrete beams for the new bridge that will carry Broad River Road traffic over the interstate. During the temporary overnight closures, traffic along I-20 will be directed to exit the highway using the Broad River Road off-ramp and continue through the intersection to enter the on-ramp back on to I-20.
