COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation announced the I-26 eastbound ramp to Bush River Road will closed permanently on Wednesday.
This is part of a three-step plan to permanently close the interchange.
Drivers will be rerouted to the new on and off-ramps at Colonial Life Boulevard.
Step one begins Wednesday night at 9 p.m. when crews will permanently close the off-ramp.
Step two will begin on Sunday with the closure of I-26 on-ramps.
Step three will close the I-26 westbound off-ramp, which is expected to happen early next year.
