SCDOT implementing nighttime road closure on Blossom Street for safety improvements projects

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) has announced temporary nighttime road closures on Blossom Street in Richland County beginning Sunday, July 28.
SCDOT says these closures are part of the Devine/Blossom Safety Improvement Project and will allow crews to resurface the part of Blossom Street.
The closure will begin each night at 6 p.m. and will last until 7 a.m. the following day beginning at 6 p.m. on July 28 and ending August 1 at 7 a.m.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near work zones.
