FIRST ALERT TRAFFIC: Flaming car causes lane closures on I-26 East


COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A vehicle on fire caused traffic congestion on I-26 East Monday morning, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT).
Fire crews arrived near mile marker 97, where the car was located. SCDOT said traffic was reduced to one lane.
As of 12:40 p.m., the scene has been cleared.
The cause of the fire and the conditions of the people inside the car are unknown at this time.
