COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), the eastbound right lane of Clemson Road, near the intersection with Hard Scrabble Road, will be closed starting Monday due to utility work.
Officials said the closure will last through the end of the week.
This closure is part of the ongoing project to widen Hard Scrabble Road, SCDOT reported. The lane closure is only in effect between Salusbury Lane and Brook Willow Drive. Businesses within the closure area will not be affected, the department added.
Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes in advance to drive around road work zones. Real-time closure information as well as other traffic updates are available at 511sc.org and on the SCDOT 511 app.
