CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close one of the ways people drive and walk onto the Ravenel Bridge late Monday night.
The East Bay Street ramp and the Arthur Ravenel Bridge pedestrian walkway will be blocked off at 11 p.m. Monday night.
The closures will allow SCDOT crews to make repairs to the bridge desk.
The pedestrian walkway is set to reopen at 2 a.m. Tuesday and the ramp is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday, SCDOT crews say.
